I have been pissed off with Adobe many times for announcing a new iteration of CS a short period after I upgraded, but I need Photoshop more than Adobe needs me, and that realization makes me behave more rationally. These things happen, and a rebate or upgrade has to start on some date, and any buyer who has just bought it outside the qualifying period is going to feel upset, but I doubt, in general, that it is in the buyer's long term interest to act on the initial feeling of pique.
