Personally, for 10 days, I would pick 2 or 3 places and visit them 
thoroughly rather than try to visit many places. 

I like Luca, Florence and San Gimignano and the smaller towns and villages 
around Tuscany. Pisa and Siena has too many tourists for their size now for 
my taste. Dolomites would be interesting photographically also.
