I am not quite sure what that one is suppose to be. Maybe the same as your carrot? I wonder how long before a deer comes along and gets the carrot nose. It looked like it already had a bite or two out of it. Yosemite is great for three seasons. I was there once in the summer and have no desire to go back and fight the crowds. As you may remember, I visited Yosemite for the first time in early September, and it was a veritable spiritual experience for all of us. Great to see in snow. As for the first one, it reminds me of one of the winters in New Jersey in the 90s, when we had lots of snow and I built a snowman outside our house with our then 3 or 4 years old son, and I too used a carrot, although not for the nose, but for another body part, until my wife made me move it lest we get in trouble with prudish neighbors ;-) Cheers, Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu http://www.greatpix.eu PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://nathansmusings.wordpress.com/ Sign my petition against the gun lobby: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/include-nra-list-terrorist-organizations-group-actively-promotes-killing-us-civilians/GgyPdyy4 YNWA On Dec 27, 2012, at 2:24 AM, Aram Langhans wrote: > Here are a few shots from Yosemite on Christmas. > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/c2/y/yosemite-0215.jpg.html > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/c2/y/yosemite-0233.jpg.html > > The best shots were from Christmas eve, as sun peaked out a bit at > opportune times. > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/c2/y/yosemite-0126.jpg.html > > As we were leaving the valley floor, the moon was rising and there was > some ground fog. > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/c2/y/yosemite-0174.jpg.html > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/c2/y/yosemite-0171.jpg.html > > Edited on my laptop, so might not be the best. > > Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. > > Taken with my new D600 > > Aram > > > Aram Langhans > > Semi-Retired (Retarded) Science Teacher > and unemployed photographer > > ?The Human Genome Project has proved Darwin more right than Darwin himself > would ever have dared dream.?
