All of these in So. Cal. In Texas Cooter's Camera, was located in the rich neighborhood, but the Cooter's sales people were always ready to talk to you and show Leica's or any other brand. In Chicago, the Leica dealers are all regular people and will show what ever they have. Never been brushed aside at any camera store that sold Leica or any other brand. It is only my experience. Even in the sixties and seventies, I found stores that sold Leicas to be stuffy places that only sold their fine wares to the rich. I can remember being shooed away from the Leica counter to a Pentax by a salesman that considered me unworthy. In have an M9 (the second Leica I have owned), and shoot it with pleasure. And to be honest, in the last few days, this list has been getting a little too fanboy for my taste. I may take a month off. All look like camera stores and not the slightest bit like jewelry stores. Where does stuff like this come from I wonder? If ones approach to Leica is so intensely negative why involve yourself with it or be on a Leica list?
