Some pre-asph 35 Summilux lenses have a guard on the rear part of the lens barrel that stops the lens working properly on the digital Ms with their narrower throat. Leica won't, but again an independent repairer can grind this off so it works. There is a code for the 11 869, 11 870 and 11 860 35 Summiluxes in the M9 and Monochrom menus, but it doesn't seem that a six-bit code was assigned. Maybe someone clever could figure out if there is a code that activates the profile from the menu. Marty _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
