The optical viewfinder offers advantages too good to pass up. The live screen is really useful, but it presents an image of something that's already happened, not what's happening right now; and no matter how hard you try, you can't photograph the past. There are work-arounds, but an OVF is the perfect solution. Date: Sat, Nov 10, 2012 12:20 am I know this will be of interest to some. It sounds a great walk-around camera if you can manage with no optical viewfinder: http://www.flixelpix.com/life/review-fujifilm-x-e1/ Gerry Gerry Walden +44 (0)23 8046 3076 or +44 (0)797 287 7932 www.gwpics.com _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
