Subject: [Leica] M8 craps out

The Leica ME is a sad joke compared to an M or monochrome.
When one can raise 5 grand for a Leica ME with a perennial permanent load of
medium speed film in it (200) or spend 7 grand for a Leica in which extra
fast speed (1600) is cruising speed and you can go way higher and use the
Leica for the street shooting I which it was from day one in the mid 1950's
designed I'd say raise the extra two grand.
7 grand is a lot to spend on a camera even if its the greatest camera being
produced today its for sure not a waist of money.
Spending 5 grand on a camera like the ME a camera which compared to what
everybody's shooting now is an embarrassment certainly is a waste of money.
The offerings out now from Leica are excellent. Its previous offerings were
severely compromised. Its not a good time to invest ones money and time in
old Leica technology. Its time to wait save and finance what Leica has
finally come into its own to offer now.
Its a pivotal time now for Leica. They are about to take over the known
photo universes as we know it.
