First at all I will continue using a Leica M with film and looking for the best solution to replace or fix the problem with your M8. I'm really used to work with Leica M and I conceive this system as my main system. Good luck! cheers Lluis El 24/10/2012, a las 2:09, Ric Carter escribi?: > 24 hours into vacation on Ocracoke Island my M8 shutter crapped out > > just over a year since it returned from a $400+ CLA from Leica > > Looked inside and found the shutter blades piled up, one bulging > toward lens > > was hoping to see an m9 price drop and maybe grab one in the next > few months, but this sure changes the timing concerns > > anyone know shutter replacement cost? > > suggestions? > > Ric Carter > www.CartersXRd.net > http://www.facebook.com/ric.carter > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
