As you engage exposure compensation you can see your image change as shadows emerge or highlights stop blowing out in real time. Or set the histogram to show in your viewfinder and see exactly what your tonal range will be as you shoot. Very powerful stuff; the zone system in your viewfinder in real time without chimping. Really powerful tool to vastly improve your imaging visualization. Don Dory.
