This is a point that I'm mortified too, and it is very difficult - at least for me - have the sensor 100% clean. I process my files in Capture One Pro, and I can remove the spots before process the file, with Capture One I can remove up to 100 spots, and sometimes it is not enough and I shall finish the work in Photoshop.
