Yes, most everything I print is b&w. I don't know if I am tainted from darkroom experience, or if for some reason I just "see" better in b&w. Now, my wife has the ability to "see" and compose in color, far better than I can. But then she is a lot smarter and talented than I am in every way. I think Ted is right when he says, "When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. When you photograph people in B&W, you photograph their souls." I see faces and eyes much clearer in B&W than I do in color. Color is just a distraction unless it is the purpose of the photo.
