Surely the offset microlenses are optimum for one exit pupil position, which I imagine all/most new M lenses comply to. The R lenses will be much different. I can't imagine how a system optimum for one could be ideal for the other. Perhaps there will be a new M to R adapter with some (very expensive...) correction in it.
