Great set of photos Philippe. The colors are quite brilliant. We did not
get to visit Burano when we were there in '08, but next tie .

Cheers,
gene

Thank you Jayanand, Jean-Michel, Uncle Ted, and Lluis

JMM : At the time we shot, the only tourists were behind the cameras;
Alice, and Alice's, the rest of the herd landed later on :-)

doc Ted : BW film there? well, I'll have nightmares tonight now that
you've evoked the idea ;-)

BTW the Med is on the other side of the Italian peninsula, facing
Barcelona. Note that I also sink when it comes to Northern America :-)

Distortion : the steeple is tilted, one of their concerns BTW,
preservation work is scheduled; thanks for the tip all the same; it's
just like getting to a date and saying by way of introduction "Sorry I
couln't get rid of that pimp/spot on my nose", and the prospective
love of your life will spend the evening concentrating on the pimp,
thinking, well that's a pimp, how negligent this is of him, I'd never
give that pimply guy a single kiss, etc. ;-) That's the NO Kiss
principle ;-)

Luis : I tried hard not to "faire du Lluis" - so it's colour for one,
a compelling necessity for me there, and I really enjoyed the 30 mn or
so we spent there shooting the people in their peaceful daily
activities before the place got overcrowded ... Just like La
Barcelonetta you're right, so long as the pack of LUG gatherers has
not stormed the place :-)

Thanks again
Philippe surviving the heat wave in the cellar
