Layers of history and fascinating detail everywhere. It is clean and friendly and vibrant and wonderful. On this occasion we struggled to wiggle through the crowds in some streets in that we only had a few hours and there were half a million extra vistors for the day. In 2009 I walked and walked each day for many hours and was never bored for a moment. That was 20 years after your visit!
