Very sorry to hear the news. Hindu prayers also offered.

War seldom accomplishes much, and endless wars achieve even less - and
countries that have never faced war on their home soil are usually more
than willing to engage in wars in other countries. This I suppose is the
natural effect of such a foreign policies. A pity.
