Now, Mark. I have two Leica M8's and I still use them. There is
absolutely nothing wrong with the Leica M8's. You just have to learn how
to exploit their advantages. All of your lenses are automatically longer!
Anything you want cropped from the edges is already cropped. I never used
a filter with the M8's unless I was photographing a wedding with lots of
black polyester. I never photographed a wedding with black polyester.
Mine were all pure silk or wool - no problem for the M8. If I hadn't had
M8's I would have missed many, many photos still trying to use the Canon 5D
and 1DMII. I would still be deleting those photos as I came to them in my
files. Instead, I'm happily saving all of my M8 photos. You just have to
try it and you will see. Or look at some of the many wonderful photos
posted here from the M8. I don't know why you accept less-than-full-frame
photos from some cameras and not from Leicas? M8 photos are better than
full-frame photos from any other digital camera. Try it out and you'll see.
