Well the difference between the M9 and the M10 will be they replace the sensor. That's not going to sound like a big jump in technology for everybody. But some may think of it as being no longer stuck with a Leica with Iso 200 film stuck inside the camera but with iso 1600 in it. Pushed even. And as Robert Frost used to say: "And that has made all the difference." The big question in the end may be why was this not done three years ago. because they were too busy replacing their lens line with super fast versions no pro photographer could never afford then paying off Magnum to be seen using them. And coming out with a medium format system that we can maybe afford to rent for a day. Once that M10 comes out (and no it won't be cheaper than an M9 it will be more expensive) we'll see who's got some Leica glass still left unmoldy in their attic and can afford 7 grand to get them going as an alternate system to their DSLR's. A lot of people will be making appointments to see their banker. What do bankers do now laugh?
