For example, to me, hanging lenses is just a pain in the ass. The quality of even an ancient Leica lens and the resolution of the M9 sensor allows getting away with an amazing degree of cropping, assuming the focus and shutter speed have created a sharp image. All I own now are two "made in Canada" Summicron f/2 lenses, a 35 and a 90. I don't use the 90 very often. I'm perfectly happy walking out of the house with nothing but the 35 on the camera. It would be nice to have a 135 to aim at my bird feeder if ever something prettier than a house finch shows up. Granted, I'm a lowly amateur and feel a bit bashful about expressing opinions to you pro's. So sorry about your loss. I'm just hoping I die before my wife does.
