Subject: [Leica] 50AA: What does it mean for film users?

I'd love to have an S2 on a good tripod. Or hand held.
That would be my first choice in medium format digital dreams.
Though a used Hasselblad digital back would make the transition from dream
to reality much quicker.

Using the finest glass and in the old days slowest film on a 35mm film
camera an almost viable option. It would look great; providing the print
isn't hung right next to one taken with medium or large format camera.

Its the same now except that in the old days it was no big deal to get a
used Rolleiflex or Rolleicord or Yashica and be in the medium format ball
game. Now with digital one needs tens of thousands of dollars. Not
everyone's got that level of money.
