I am willing to bet that a lot of pros already had an investment in H lenses and refused to try out the S because the cost to change was too high. With this adapter Leica can get them a little bit pregnant with the hope that the pro will eventually go fully S. of course they did blow it by not offering a Phocus sw interface. -----Original Message----- >From: mehrdad <msadat at gmail.com> >Sent: May 11, 2012 7:17 AM >To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> >Subject: Re: [Leica] Leica new product announcements > >very interesting piece work, i wonder why this is needed! > > >also they have been continually introducing the s2 lenses with built in >shutters again (not sure what that means, 5 new s2 lenses) > >when do we get to see a cmos in a leica? that will be a game changer, >higher usable iso, live view, movies,.... > >On Thu, May 10, 2012 at 9:10 PM, Frank <red735i at earthlink.net> wrote: > >> OK.
