We took off and landed safely so that's all that matters! :-) Many many years later I flew in one adapted with ski's into the Canadian Arctic and safely landed. It's a work horse of planes! Lots of airborne guys know this plane very well! :-) cheers ted ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Nichols" <jhnichols at lighttube.net> To: "LUG at Leica-Users.org" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Saturday, April 14, 2012 9:55 PM Subject: [Leica] IMG: One More for Geoff > My favorite subject, the DC-3 that is stranded at our airport since one > engine failed, and repairs are not currently viable.
