Then it resets to top selection (White Balance). I was explaining to John how to find it to look at since he'd never seen it either. I've never used user profiles so I guess that's why I've never seen this. If you get these accidental presses, one workaround might be to scroll off Set user profile after you use your custom profile? You could park the default on the Resolution place if wanted (non-functional when DNG selected). Also if you are using A exposure mode you will get only the manual dot/arrows display in finder instead of approx shutter speed. I have once had unintentional selection of JPG instead of DNG courtesy of phantom button presses (inside a half case) myself.
