As for Philippe's observation, the first couple of safaris one goes to, the temptation is get close and tight, as it all so exciting being so close to animals in the wild. As you go more often, you get looser and wider as you get fed up of taking tight portraits of bored animals....you either want something a bit extra like interesting behaviour, action or environment in the photographs. At least this has been my experience.
