I shoot 90% of my work with my Canon 5DmkII at ISO 100. For those things I need more speed, it is damn nice to see its available and will give usable quality. The new 5DmkIII is said to give even less high ISO noise. I am not going to buy one, because I cannot afford it and don't really need it, but I won't in a million years complain that Canon improved the 5D, and certainly wouldn't say something so dumb as "No one needs it". -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://blog.chriscrawfordphoto.com My latest work! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Become a fan on Facebook On 3/18/12 12:31 AM, "John McMaster" <john at chiaroscuro.co.nz> wrote: >Where are these Magnum shots which have to be done at 6400asa? > >john > >-----Original Message----- > >I think the Know if they want the Magnum photogs to put down their DSLR's >and pick up Leicas without being paid to do so but the other way around >they >are going to have to give them close to what they are already getting: >Which is 64,000 iso @ cruising speed. > > > >_______________________________________________ >Leica Users Group. >See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
