Which means stop down. Google photojournalism or picture of the day and try to see how the bokeh is doing in today's world. Good luck doing so because you won't find any bokeh . Everything is in focus now and blurry pictures are not in vogue. 64,000 is not even fast. That's what my D700 tops out on on auto iso. Lots of other cameras are going a lot higher. Several stops. Thing is remember this. 64,00o sounds ridiculously fast. But its only two stops faster than 1600. 1600 3200 6400 Two stops is not the difference between 1.4 and 16. But the difference between 1.4 and 2.8 60th and 250th. Its a swift kick in the pants not a push off a cliff. The main thing is; you get used to it. And after that its not the kind of thing you want to not have. -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ > From: John McMaster <john at chiaroscuro.co.nz> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sun, 18 Mar 2012 17:31:11 +1300 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] M10 May 10 > > Where are these Magnum shots which have to be done at 6400asa? > > john > > -----Original Message----- > > I think the Know if they want the Magnum photogs to put down their DSLR's > and pick up Leicas without being paid to do so but the other way around > they > are going to have to give them close to what they are already getting: > Which is 64,000 iso @ cruising speed. > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
