Though has proven useful for what Ted has coined "happy snaps." and I'm sure there are others with more on the way. The iPad is young and growing up fast. Please understand that I'm not making any claims that the iPad does now, or will ever, replace a powerful computer. I'm simply acknowledging that it has a place in the photographer's tool kit. One other rather amazing thing: EyeFi I can, with the EyeFi card, make a photograph with my 5D which rather quickly and wirelessly appears on the iPad. (does not work with M8 or DMR due to metal housings) Last week Ann wanted to send an old color print to her son, Tyler to illustrate how much Tyler's (4 month old) son looks like Tyler at 4 months. Within 1.5 minutes I copied, wirelessly transferred, cropped and color corrected the 4x4 print and "texted" the photo to Tyler's phone. This type of functionality obviously has business applications as well.
