They would need to put more than 64GB of storage in them then, and I don't 
see that happening anytime soon.

I have no idea what video image formats are...

How about as in Raw Image formats.....? 

As in Leica, Canon, Nikon, Hasselblad, Mamiya, Sigma, Olympus, etc., raw
image files.....

I do acknowledge that probably 99% of the images out there are jpgs. But not
many enthusiasts shoot jpg, tiff, or (gasp) gif images.....  

Raw image capture, is probably close to 99% of the images shot here on the
LUG.
