My wife is in the hospital right now, after having her right knee replaced yesterday. She is due to come home either tomorrow or Monday, but should recover and be ready for the cruise in May. ;) Cheers, Gene ----- Original Message ----- From: tedgrant at shaw.ca To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Saturday, February 18, 2012 1:07:10 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: Re: [Leica] What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been Well I'm only posting this because my good and wonderful wife isn't too well at the moment and we'll both be 83 come May 25 and 27. But I thought you folks would like to know we met early 1949 and married Oct. 15th, 1949 and this year, the Great Spirit willing, we will be married 62 years come this October! And her side comment would be? "Oh well there were about 10 good ones!" And smile. :-) ted ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sonny Carter" <sonc.hegr at gmail.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Friday, February 17, 2012 8:49 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been > Kathy and I had our first date in late October 1980 and married December > 27, 1980. > > It took a long time, because we wanted family to be able to come to the > wedding. > > 31 years. > > > > On Fri, Feb 17, 2012 at 3:45 PM, Alan Magayne-Roshak <amr3 at uwm.edu> > wrote: > >> On Fri, 17 Feb 2012 Nathan Wajsman <photo at frozenlight.eu>wrote: >> >> >I met my wife in similar circumstances (college, dorm, party) in >> September 1979, and we have been married since August 1983. >> >> >Cheers, >> >Nathan >> >> ======================================================================================================== >> What took you so long?
