The B&W is perfect for this type of situation, we all know what it means trying to change a child's mind! I think I learned to read with Tintin, quite an institution in France and Belgium. The author, obviously, was in many ways a visionary (Walking on the moon, for instance) and Tintin books have become a classic read for people "from 7 to 77" as the ad goes. Early editions are quite sought after on the art market.Jean-Michel A definitely good photo indeed - which also brings me back when I read my first "book" by myself; it was a Tintin. Still much read by some "young people aged 7 to 77" as stated by Jean Michel. For Tintin's fans here's the castle/palace that inspired Herg? for Moulinsart http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Phileica/Doulce+France/Cheverny-2009/Cheverny-2009-1100674.jpg.html Keep them coming Quan Philippe > Date: Tue, 14 Feb 2012 19:59:37 -0800 > From: quantran101 at gmail.com > To: lug at leica-users.org > Subject: [Leica] Tintin > > I just posted a new post on the blog > > http://fluxlux.blogspot.com/2012/02/tintin.html > > All comments and critiques are welcome.
