The problem is that the M9 popularity is really driving the used market batty. Pre-M9 an 90AA probably ranged from $1900-$3000, depending on the condition. Now? I wouldn't pay $4500 but then you may not have any choice. If you are willing to go with F2.8, the choice for good glass opens up a lot. The Hexanon 90/2.8, for example, is reputed to be very good. I have no experience with any of the Leica 90, except for the AA, which is an excellent lens. I'm sure Puts and other Luggers have good info if you are willing to look into non-AA 90.
