Subject: [Leica] Mark, your new NEC screen

Thanks for the tip Richard. If it keeps going like its going I'm going to
for sure have to do that next month with my next check. The manual controls
are opaque. There are dozens of paramiters not mentioned in any
documentation as to what they might possibly mean or do. And I did download
the manual. Which pretty much says "hook up the wires and good luck".
Its the Nec E231W monitor 23 inch.
Which I'm now lowering two inches as my Neck is starting to go.
Its an LCD with a LED backlight. So its perhaps some kind of hybrid?
I never did get it straight which was better LCD or LED anyway. Maybe both
is better.
I do like the look shape and and size of the thing.
And so far I still like the way the word "NEC" looks.

It was pretty much dead out of the water till I clicked "mirror".
Which does not mean left to right instead of right to left as a photographer
might think.
HULU movies now look pretty darned good but no way can I use it for a
photograph I crutch every morning and put up on my LUG gallery. I still
have to use my macbook pro 13" built in for that.
Until I get a flash of lucidity in the monitor set up department.
Cross your fingers for me.
In front of your back.
And think happy thoughts.
