The cap hides a bald head, and a hearing aid, so things aren't always what they seem. It is a little disturbing to me that my most discussed image is one in which I chose the subjects, the camera, and the lens, and set up the scene, but, because I was in the photo, I had a friend actually take a series of five exposures for me. Maybe I need to use him full-time. ;~) Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Barbour" <steve.barbour at gmail.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Monday, January 30, 2012 12:52 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: From the 1930s > > On Jan 30, 2012, at 10:51 AM, Jean-Michel Mertz wrote: > >> >> I love that picture, wonderful sepia and the plane in the back is a >> beauty - did you pilot that machine, Jim?JM >>> From: jhnichols at lighttube.net >>> To: lug at leica-users.org >>> Date: Sun, 29 Jan 2012 16:37:04 -0600 >>> CC: olympus at thomasclausen.net >>> Subject: [Leica] IMG: From the 1930s >>> >>> When I saw this in sepia, it dawned on me that both of us are products >>> of the 1930s. > > you look wonderful Jim, > > Steve > > >>> >>> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Jim+_amp_+DC-3+Sepia+2.jpg.html >>> >>> E-1 with ZD35mm Macro, ISO 200, RAW, exposure by Jim Chapman >>> >>> Comments and critiques welcomed. >>> >>> Jim Nichols >>> Tullahoma, TN USA >>> >>> _______________________________________________ >>> Leica Users Group. >>> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > >
