I'd not be surprised if slide film as in transpanceies as in E6 goes the way of the dodo. And Kodachrome. Dodochrome. You can get a Daguerreotype kit. A platinum printing kit. Take an Albumin class. Most photo processes though they may lack current prominence they tend to not die completely. You're just not going to be able to buy the stuff in the drug store any more. -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ > From: Geoff Hopkinson <hopsternew at gmail.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Fri, 20 Jan 2012 13:51:43 +1000 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Does Kodak Chapter 11 Mean the End of C-41 Film? > > Jim for your interest, count yourself lucky to still have some options over > there and I suspect that bulk purchase from people like BHPhoto will be > more and more common. > Fujifilm down under still currently lists a couple of C41and BW emulsions > and the pro transparency films in 35mm.
