We had a lot of tall trees. It was the battle between the red coats and the blue coats. Never saw any yellow birds. Other than a few Robins. If you call that yellow. I'd call it orange. -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ > From: Jim Nichols <jhnichols at lighttube.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Mon, 16 Jan 2012 22:31:36 -0600 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: More Winter Birds > > Hi Mark, > > Without the lighter-colored females, the red ones would soon disappear. ;~) > > Jim Nichols > Tullahoma, TN USA > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mark Rabiner" <mark at rabinergroup.com> > To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> > Sent: Monday, January 16, 2012 9:58 PM > Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: More Winter Birds > > >> I thought all Cardinals were red. >> Since when did they let in the yellow ones? >> Gorgeous bird! >> >> -- >> Mark R. >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ >> >> >>> From: Jim Nichols <jhnichols at lighttube.net> >>> Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> >>> Date: Mon, 16 Jan 2012 16:48:51 -0600 >>> To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> >>> Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: More Winter Birds >>> >>> Hi Barry, >>> >>> Thanks for the kind words. >>> >>> No, I don't have a real blind.
