Today, when I first went outside, it began to rain. To protect my gear, I opened the garage door, and set up my tripod and a chair at the opening. This allowed me to see parts of the yard without being too conspicuous. The pear tree, which gets a lot of short-time bird traffic, was about 40 ft away, so cropping was necessary.
