This works very well and allows you to move things around with out worrying about breaking connections. My preference would be to use some large, inexpensive stobes (Flashpoint: Adorama's in-store brand) with soft boxes. I am a little leary though about hooking up the M9's delicate innards directly to these honking strobes without some sort of plan to protect the camera. I do have a Wein safe-synch kicking around somewhere, but am interested in other options.
