One of the steps is to move my 2010 image files from an internal disk to an external disk. I already run my 2009 and prior from my external disk. The trick is to : 1. Open LR and select/all the files you want to move 2. Export as catalogue to the external disk checking both boxes (move negative files and whatever the other box says) 3. Then I run SyncPro (free for a mac) to compare the files in the directory(ies) I'm copying from have all moved to the new directory(ies). 4. Delete the selected photos from your lightroom catalogue - delete from disk 5. Import the new catalogue from the new location. You should have no issues. Best, Bob On Sat, Jan 7, 2012 at 5:34 AM, J.
