It probably comes about because my wife and I grew up in the depression years of the 1930s, and we seem to be tight with a buck. I look for gear that will do what I want to do, at reasonable cost. The Oly DSLRs and Leica-R lenses fit that description. Now, if I could inherit an M3, to help my aging eyes, my photographic world would be complete. ;~) Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nathan Wajsman" <photo at frozenlight.eu> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Friday, January 06, 2012 1:19 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: Titmouse in January > Jim, you are one of the few people who really makes the combination of > modern DSLRs and old Leica R lenses sing. > > Cheers, > Nathan > > Nathan Wajsman > Alicante, Spain > http://www.frozenlight.eu > http://www.greatpix.eu > http://www.nathanfoto.com > PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws > Blog: http://nathansmusings.wordpress.com/ > > > YNWA > > > > On Jan 3, 2012, at 8:49 PM, Jim Nichols wrote: > >> A number of birds remain with us all winter, so we keep putting out black >> oil sunflower seeds.
