I made three shopping stops this morning with the lens on my Leica IIIf poking out the front of my coat. No one commented at all. I was limited in time, and didn't try to take photos, except at the airport. The last time I did this, I did get one smiling comment from a young lady who likes old cameras, supporting Nathan's claims.
