I have travelled a lot during 2011: Puerto Rico, Taiwan, San Francisco, Washington, just to name the non-Europe destinations. Yet the pictures I sent to Jim were from two much more mundane places: one from right here in Spain, and the other from Cornwall, less than 200 miles from where my son goes to university. Travelling is great, but it is absolutely not necessary to take good pictures.
