Did you do Sunrise at Halleakala? Went up to the top of the Haleakala volcano today. Not the tip top, which is at about 14,000, but up to where the road ends at about 10,000. The Silver Sword is indigenous to this volcano and is found nowhere else in the world as a native plant. I've not been able to capture a decent image of one the last 2 times up, but I like this as it shows a blooming plant behind a dead one. I believe they live to be about 25 years old; pretty impressive for that climate. Hope you enjoy. C&C always appreciated. http://www.rgaphoto.com/2011-Hawaii/content/SilverSwordBW_MASTER_2011_10_Hawaii_CF003650_large.html Best, Bob -- Bob Adler Palo Alto, CA http://www.rgaphoto.com _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
