LIghting was halogen & that made the pastel colored roses & the white wall a yellow tint. This lens is designed to deliberately introduce a controlled amount of spherical aberration to the image which softens it and imparts a misty quality. This is controlled by the aperture used; at f5.6 the image is only slightly soft while at f2.2 it is extremely soft.
