I've seen quite a few of both, so they don't look the same to me to where I think I'd get it wrong, even though I'm a long way from a zoologist. I wonder, though. If there are no wolves, I bet that there were in the past. It seems likely that they were exterminated. But - There are supposed to be no grizzlies in Washington State. Friends of mine have seen them, and they know what they are seeing. It's hard to mistake a ten or twelve foot tall bear!
