For the rest of the landscape, meter normally and then stop down a stop or two to get that "dark" look. Really it's much the same as standard landscape shooting except that your sunlight source is reflected off a REALLY big umbrella a LONG way away. If you do long exposures (10 minutes or more) you may get some softness in fine details and edges since your light source is moving a little.? Probably you'll have to look close to see that. Star trails are always cool, too. ? R.
