The 65mm Elmar can focus from just a couple inches all the way to infinity with the 16464K focusing adapter. The adapter accepts the lens screw mount on one end and the Leica M bayonet on the other end. There is a long throw focus mechanism and ring between the two. The M bayonet end will then mount onto the Visoflex III which has enough clearance to mount on an M8 body or any of the film M's. The lens will then act exactly like a Nikon 55mm macro mounted on any Nikon SLR.
