Not in the manual focus rangefinder canon but they did have
rangefinders in them with active IR beams. I'm splitting hairs just for
the sake of splitting hairs but there are varying degrees of
rangefinder from completely autofocus like the G1/G2 to the Hexar to
the other P&S cameras out there that used triangulation for distance
calculation.
Yeah, they aren't manual focus Leicas but nothing else is.
