I have the Canon prime L lenses and they all show fringing and loss of detail and awful bokeh. I spend hours trying to correct the photos that I took with the Canon 5D and 1DMII before Leica came out with the M9. I hate it when I have a request for a photo taken with the Canon. The Leica M9 and R9 with DMR are ready to go, straight from the camera. My daughter is using my Canon cameras and lenses to shoot weddings and events. They are fine for that. Nobody can tell the difference. I can and I'm sure you can, too. Tina On Tue, Oct 18, 2011 at 6:11 PM, R.
