The bleak sky in my black and white work is mostly a product of the climate in Indiana, where I live. It rains here a lot and the sky is often white like that. In the southwestern USA, where I did these color photos, the sky is usually blue and cloudless, and this year especially so because there is a bad drought out there right now. They aren't getting enough rain. -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://blog.chriscrawfordphoto.com My latest work! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Become a fan on Facebook On 9/21/11 6:37 AM, "philippe.amard" <philippe.amard at sfr.fr> wrote: > I much prefer the colour shots, the sky looked too bleak for my taste > in the BW ones > > Nice framing once more :-) > > Bien coridalement de Metz > Philippe > Le 21 sept. 11 ? 09:13, Chris Crawford a ?crit : > >> http://chriscrawfordphoto.com/chris-details.php?prodId=716&category=41 >> >> Another from my trip last month. 30 more rolls to scan from! >> >> >> -- >> Chris Crawford >> Fine Art Photography >> Fort Wayne, Indiana >> 260-437-8990 >> >> http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio >> >> http://blog.chriscrawfordphoto.com My latest work! >> >> http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 >> Become a fan on Facebook >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
