I've noticed that people who are really experts in classical music (say, a conductor) usually don't have really good hi-fi systems. They don't need them - their mind fills in the gaps. They are interested in the interpretation rather than the sound quality. Then I have friends with unbelievably expensive hi-fi systems and uninteresting records or CD's that essentially demonstrate the ability of the hi-fi. Not unlike having expensive cameras and never producing a photo. The $5,000 cables are therre - look at Audiogon.com. Ken On 8/20/2011 1:10 PM, Herbert Kanner wrote: > Total scam.
