I have also been forced into the one in Orlando on many occasions during the years we lived in Tampa. Anyway, some of my "must do" things in Paris include: - P?re Lachaise cemetery, with graves of greats like Jim Morrison and Chopin - Jardins du Luxembourg for relaxing and people-watching - getting lost in the Latin Quarter - checking out the camera stores on Blvd. Beaumarchais (although you will probably not buy anything) - the Louvre; unlike many tourist attractions, it is NOT overrated - the Japanese shops and restaurants near the Opera--fun to see in the center of Paris - the main Gallerie Lafayettes department store for sheer grandeur. If you are interested, I also have a couple of really good vegetarian restaurants, I have their cards somewhere and can give you the details if you swing that way. I am sure the French LUGgers will give you lots of useful tips.
